A Dump Truck Driver is responsible for transporting materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, or construction debris to and from job sites. Their duties include loading and unloading materials, inspecting and maintaining the truck, and following safety regulations and traffic laws. They must operate the truck efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to weight limits and road restrictions. Strong driving skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina are essential for this role. A commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required, depending on the employer and type of truck used.
